Essential Qualification

• Common Qualification for many posts: Candidates need a Postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject. They also need a B.Ed. degree. A 5% relaxation in marks is available for SC/ST and PwD candidates.
• Secondary Teacher (Politics, Sociology, Psychology, etc.):

• Postgraduate degree with 50% marks in the respective subject and a B.Ed. degree.
• Must have studied the subject at the graduation level also.

• Secondary Teacher (AI, Cyber Security, Computer Science):

• Sc. (CS/IT) or MCA or M.Tech (CS/IT) with 50% marks.
• OR B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) with PG Diploma in Computer Application.
• Ed. degree with at least 50% marks.

• Special Education Teacher (Secondary):

• Masters Degree from a recognized university.
• Ed. (Special Education) OR B.Ed. (General) with a diploma in Special Education.
• Must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Selection Process

1. Main Written Exam: The selection will be based on a single main exam held in two shifts.
2. Paper 1 (Qualifying): This paper will have questions on General Knowledge and Hindi/English. Candidates must score at least 33% to qualify.
3. Paper 2 (Merit): This paper will be on the subject chosen for appointment. Marks from this paper will be used to create the merit list.
4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
5. Final Merit List: A final list will be prepared based on Paper 2 marks and document verification.
